UAE- Yemeni president holds meeting with advisors ministers

ADEN 18th October 2015 (WAM) - President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi of Yemen today presided over a meeting with his key advisors and ministers to briefed them about a letter from the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon inviting the legitimate government to a new round of talks with the Houthi rebels and Saleh in an attempt to put an end to the fighting and to resume the political process.

According to Yemen's official news agency the UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed had conveyed the UN Secretray General's letter to President Hadi in which he confirmed that the Houthis have accepted the Security council resolution 2216.
