(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least four paratroopers were killed when an explosion took place at a military factory in the Ain Al-Delfa Province, Northwest of Algeria.
In a press statement, the Algerian Army said that the powerful blast occurred at a bomb fuse making workshop at the plant.
It added that emergency teams have managed to control the ensuing fire and rushed the injured to nearby hospitals.
A probe was launched to investigate the causes of the explosion, it noted.
