Turkish prosecutors refer six suspects in Ankara blasts to trial

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Turkish Public Prosecution issued on Sunday arrest warrants for four more suspects in connection with the deadly twin bombings that hit Ankara a week ago.
Earlier today the prosecutors finalized interrogations with 11 suspects and sent six of them to trial at the criminal court, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported, citing judicial sources.
They ordered the release of four others and requested judicial controls for the remaining defendant.
The 11 suspects were among 14 people who were held in custody on Thursday as part of the investigations; three of them were detained due to suspicious posts on Twitter and were released later.
The suicide bombings that hit at a peaceful rally on Saturday, October 10, claimed 102 lives and injured hundreds of others. The demonstrators were calling for ending the renewed fighting between the Turkish security authorities and the Kurdistan Workers Party.
