Moderate weather prevails until Monday
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The weather on Sunday is expected to be moderate in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the desert regions, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with clouds at high and medium altitudes, mainly in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures are expected to be 4-5 degrees above their seasonal average with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds blowing dust in the desert areas.
A tangible drop in temperatures is expected Monday; therefore it will be mild in the hilly areas and moderate in other parts of the Kingdom with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for scattered showers in the eastern and southern regions.
Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk raising dust at times, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 20 degrees at night.
