The conference includes the 40th meeting of the Group of Climate Change the 18th meeting of the Awareness and Environmental Information Committee the 8th meeting of Ozone Action Group the 5th meeting of the Group of Gulf Network for Studies of Land Degradation and 15th meeting of the Standing Committee for Wildlife.
As part of the GCC General Environment Conference Qatar also hosts during 26 and 27 October the 36th meeting of the GCC Undersecretaries responsible for environmental affairs and the 19th meeting of GCC Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs.
