(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Israeli army forces shot dead a Palestinian man at the Qaladiya checkpoint, which separates Ramallah and occupied Jerusalem, on Saturday, eyewitnesses said.
The Israeli forces opened fire at 23-year-old Omar Faqih and injured him, the witnesses said in press remarks, but they shot him again and killed him.
The motive of the killing is unknown.
Israeli occupation authorities said the forces opened fire at Faqih after he stabbed and injured an Israeli soldier.
Four Palestinian, three in the West Bank city of Al-khalil (Hebron), were killed by the Israeli forces today.
