2nd GCC Games to kick off without Kuwait


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The second GCC Games will kick off here on October 22 without the participation of Kuwait, the organizing committee said Tuesday, adding the contesting countries are Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.
The committee amended the schedule of games after Kuwait had announced that it would not join it, Mirza Ali, the organizing committee's secretary general, said in a press statement.
He said that all matches will be held at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, indicating the tourney will run until October 26.
