UK Minister discusses developments with Yemeni President

ABU DHABI13th October 2015 (WAM) -- Yemeni President Abd-Rabu Mansur Hadi has received a phone call from the UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for the Middle East and North Africa Tobias Ellwood.

According to Qatar News Agency QNA they reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and boosting them on all fronts. They also discussed developments on the Yemeni front and the victories of the pro-legitimacy army and popular resistance against Houthi militias.

The U.K. official condemned the humanitarian violations of Houthi militias against civilians particularly the siege of Taez and the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the city.

Ellwood also reiterated his country's support for the stability unity and constitutional legitimacy of Yemen.
