Qatar Stock Index Rises 101.13 Points
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 101.13 points or -0.86% Sunday when it closed at 11,855.87 points.
The daily turnover decreased to QR 417,893 Million with a volume of 13,615,420 shares from 5,136 deals compared with QR 447.90 Million with a volume of 7,655,433 shares from 3,950 deals last Thursday.
Indices of six sectors ended in green and one in red today. Telecoms advanced the most, up +2.21% to 1,066.16 points while insurance dropped -0.56% to 4,669.13 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained +0.86% (18,428.25 points).
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 42 exchanged hands today. From these 28 gained, 10 dropped and four remained unchanged.
