Famed American voice over artist Siri Steinmo will be coming to town to host an exclusive one-off workshop for budding stars to attend. The special masterclass, suitable for ages 8-16 years, will be held at James & Alex Dance Studios on October 23 from 9am-11am. The workshop will involve reading real scripts from video games and commercials, tips on how to change your voice into different characters, insight into becoming a cartoon voice, plus a Q&A session with Steinmo where she will spill the secrets about what it's like to film on location in New York City.
Steinmo trained at drama school in the UK and after playing leads in musicals, singing with an international funk band (opening for BB King) and starring in films alongside well-loved British actors, she has now become the voice of popular video games such as Microsoft's Cortana and the audio books of True Blood and Pound of Flesh. She also played Lady Macbeth for the award-winning Wireless Theatre Company and will be starring in a brand new blockbuster video game out this November.
