(MENAFN) Upon lifting the sanctions plus the global political opening, Iran has selected a couple of top Swedish and British insurance firms to deliver coverage to Iranian vessels.
Obviously conditions have become better prepared for Iran's new transactions following the nuclear agreement, thus opening the doors for a wide range of new opportunities.
National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) is the entity which is responsible for the completion of these deals; it also transports Iranian crude to export markets plus handling distribution of oil products to Iranian ports.
"Preparations have been made for the return to international and European markets. Relying on our standards, our fleet can enter new markets and achieve the objectives," said an official of NITC.
