Egypt- Arab League chief condemns Ankara blasts


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Araby on Sunday strongly condemned the explosions that took place in the Turkish capital of Ankara early Saturday, as a "terrorist act".
Al-Araby voiced full solidarity with the Turkish people in the fight against the "terrorist acts" that hit the country recently, while offering condolence to the victims' families and wished swift recovery to those injured in the explosions.
He called on the international community to work together in face of terrorism that hits the entire world and poses a threat to regional and international security and stability.
Twin blasts hit Ankara's main train station early Saturday, targeting a peaceful demonstration calling for an end to the renewed conflict between the outlawed PKK and Turkish security forces.
