(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Civil Defense Department (CDD) Director General Lt. Gen. Talal Kofahi, Thursday, discussed with a Kuwaiti delegation representing the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate headed by Maj. Gen. Khalid Youssef €al-Terkait.
A CDD statement said, that Kofahi stressed the depth of bilateral ties between the two countries in various fields, namely, in civil protection science and civil defense spheres.
The Kuwaiti delegation also visited Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection and was briefed on its key role in this regard as the Academy is the first of its kind in the MENA region.
The delegation met Kuwaiti students currently studying at the Academy, where they underscored the technical level the scientific institute has reached in terms of plans, programs and administrative level.
