Treasury’s cash revenues in first nine months of 2015 were $114 billion while non-interest expenditures were $110 billion Treasury says

Turkey's Treasury posted a cash balance deficit of 23.54 billion Turkish liras ($8 billion) from January to September 2015 the Treasury announced on Wednesday.

Cash revenue during the period was 335.4 billion liras ($114 billion) while non-interest expenditures were 323.7 billion liras ($110 billion).

The deficit came after an interest payment of 42.6 billion liras ($14.5 billion).

The Treasury’s cash revenue in September was 23 billion Turkish liras ($7.8 billion) while its non-interest expenditures were 43.3 billion liras ($14.7 billion). Interest payments stood at 5 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion).

The cash deficit or cash surplus is revenue minus expenses minus net acquisition of nonfinancial assets. It differs in composition from the fiscal deficit which includes all revenue and expenses.
