Qatar- Commercial Bank shortlisted for top media industry award

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Commercial Bank has been shortlisted for an award at The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards for its 40th anniversary corporate video.
This year, Commercial Bank announced the historic milestone of reaching its 40th anniversary and celebrated with a series of special events and activities, including the commissioning of a corporate video.
The video, 'Commercial Bank: 40 Years of Innovation & Prosperity in Qatar,' was selected by an international jury as a winner in the 'Integrated Communication' category at The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.
The video pays tribute to Commercial Bank's visionary board members, dedicated staff, and loyal customers, and reflects the bank's 40 years of prosperity and innovation since 1975.
Centred around a Qatari family, the video shows their shared banking journey over the decades, including using the first ATM in Qatar € one of several banking innovations brought to Qatar by Commercial Bank.
The video ends by highlighting Commercial Bank's role in financing a large local infrastructure project in support of the development of a robust Qatari economy and realisation of the National Vision 2030.
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards are held annually in France to honour the world's finest corporate films, online media and TV documentaries. It is the only festival for corporate films taking place in Cannes, the city famously known for feature films and advertising productions.
Commercial Bank will join the other shortlisted winners for the official Awards Gala Dinner later this month in Palm Beach, Cannes, where the Grand Prix winner of the "Integrated Communication" category will be announced
