(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting's (GOIC) training and capacity development (TCD) program will deliver a series of training workshops to develop human capacities and professional skills of individuals working in the industrial sector and, in parallel, will put the finishing touches to the 2016 training schedule in order to continue to support the industrial sectors and economies of GCC countries.
In this regard, GOIC will hold a training in English entitled 'Production Management and Quality Control for Industrial SME' at its Doha headquarters from October 12 to 14. Many production managers, engineers, quality control personnel, production supervisors, production engineers and quality control managers from various private and public sector institutions in the GCC will attend the training.
"The main objective of this training program is to identify ways and means to improve the managerial skills in industrial SME for production management and quality control practices in order to increase profits and/or decrease/eliminate costs or losses in the plants," said GOIC Secretary General Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Ageel.
Participants will discuss the productivity elements and quality dimensions as well as several cost and waste reduction strategies. Quality control and quality improvement techniques will be reviewed with focus on their relation to productivity. The course will also introduce problem-solving tools and basic statistical concepts, process control and process capability plans, acceptance sampling, and attribute controls.
GOIC offers a number of training workshops to concerned parties according to their specific needs in various fields in order to increase individual and organizational skills in the industrial sector of GCC countries and Yemen.
