Turkey's TurkStream pipeline project postpones


(MENAFN) Gazprom, the well-known Russian gas giant decided to delay its pipeline project with Turkey on the back of tensions between the two nations.

The unsettling atmosphere is caused by Russia's direct intervention in the Syrian conflict which doesn't please Turkey one bit, as the available info shows.

In more detail, Russia has enraged Ankara with its warplanes twice violating the airspace of the NATO member in recent days, leading Turkish authorities to complain.

The TurkStream plan Consists of four 900-kilometre offshore pipelines running under the Black Sea linking southern Russia to western Turkey.
