Kuwait, S. Korea stress Thursday's world and Asian qualifier

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The coaches of both Kuwaiti and Tunisian football teams stressed here Wednesday the significance of their Thursday match which is part of the fourth round of Group 7 of world and Asian cup qualifiers.
They shared the same view during a joint press conference that they would have an uneasy away match tomorrow at Al-Kuwait Sports Club. The decisive home game will be held in South Korea on March 29.
Kuwaiti coach of Tunisia Nabil Ma'loul said his players were well-prepared for this significant confrontation, and resolved for making an early advance.
Stressing the importance of his team's fight spirit and concentration, Ma'loul voiced confidence that the Kuwaitis would win the game, though the South Korean squad is one of the best football teams in the Asian continent.
"We are able to respond to the Korean team's style which is based on individual skills, team performance and fast attacking and defending," the coach added.
On his part, South Korea's coach of Germany Uli Stielike said he had watched all the games of the Kuwaiti squad and his team completely ready for the match.
He admitted that both rivals had the chance to qualify either by coming as a forerunner or as the best runners-up in all groups.
Leading the group, South Korea and Kuwait have seven points but the goal difference is in favor of the latter, followed by Lebanon with three points, then Myanmar and Laos with just one point each.
