Iran's liquefied petroleum gas yield soars 70 percent


(MENAFN) National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC)-affiliated gas refining firms created further than 1.337 million metric tons of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the March-Sept period.

The released figures present a 70 percent surge as opposed to the numbers for 2014; moreover, the production capacity will jump to one billion cubic meters (bcm) per day in four years.

Iran is determined to support investment in its downstream oil, gas and petrochemical industries, and it will not stop there as the nation aspires for more in the near future.

With the conclusion of all stages of South Pars Gas Field, Iran's gas condensate production will stand at 650,000 barrels whereas the daily output for LPG will hit 6.7 million tons and 4 million tons respectively.
