Jordan- Temperatures will drop, rain forecast, JMD

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Unstable weather conditions are forecast across the Kingdom Tuesday with temperatures dipping 3-4 degrees Celsius below seasonal average, according to the Jordan Metrological Department (JMD).

Light thundery showers are also in the forecast for much of the eastern and northeastern parts of the country, it said.

In the afternoon, a wet and humid air mass will affect many regions with patches of clouds gradually accumulating in the northern and central regions as skies will turn partly cloudy, and cloudy at times, with a chance for a drizzle accompanied by thunder and lightning, the JMD said.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country, it added.

Mercury levels will continue to drop Wednesday, becoming 5-6 degrees, while similar conditions will continue to prevail with westerly to northwesterly moderate winds, changing to brisk and dusty in the Badia region.

Today's temperatures will range between the day-time high of 26 degrees and the overnight low of 16.
