Israel demolishes 3 houses, closes another in E. Jerusalem

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Israeli forces on Tuesday demolished houses owned by three Palestinians who had been killed by the troops last year.
Local security sources told KUNA that a large number of Israeli soldiers stromed Jbah Al-Mukaber in East Jerusalem, imposed a security cordon and blew up the three houses belonging to families of the slain trio.
The troops also sealed with cement the home of the martyr, Moataz Hijazi, in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Witnesses told the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that the Israeli forces used stun grenades, tear gas and rubber bullets in the raid, adding that a Palestinian woman fainted as a result of bombing the houses.
Clashes broke out during the past three days in all Palestinian areas, including the West Bank and Jerusalem, in the wake of riads on courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the occupation forces and the settlers.
