Arab communication ministers discuss boosting cooperation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The 19th session of the council of Arab ministers of communication and information technology discussed developing cooperation in the field, as announced by head of the Kuwaiti delegation in the event, Abdullah Al-Azmi.
The meeting's agenda also included the results of the meeting of the permanent Arab postal committee, including a proposal to establish a joint Arab postal authorities' network, Al-Azmi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Tuesday.
Moreover, the council discussed establishing an Arab training center in Tunisia, in cooperation with the Universal Postal Union, the regional development plan for 2013-2016 and the proposal for issuing a unified Arab post stamp, he noted.
He added that they also discussed connecting Arab internet networks, fighting cyber crimes and terrorism, enabling disabled people to use internet and the role of youth in developing the information technology field.(
