Kuwait for holding GCC joint humanitarian projects to help Syrians

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait suggested to GCC Red Crescent Societies to hold joint humanitarian projects to help the Syrian refugees, Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) legal department Director Dr. Musaad Al-Enezi announced on Tuesday.
He made this remark at the conclusion of a meeting by GCC Red Crescent Societies permanent work team.
The projects will include providing kidneys dialysis centers, bakeries, agricultural produce, educational centers, and clean water sources to help the Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.
KRCS has offered tremendous aid to the Syrian refugees where it distributed 50 million loaves of bread, medical care and other in-kind aid.
KRCS will continue to give help in cooperation with local and regional aid organizations, Al-Enezi pointed out.
This suggestion will be tackled in detail in another meeting by GCC Red Crescent Societies' senior officials in Doha on October 28.
