(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 55.00 points or +0.48% Monday when it closed at 11,569.12 points.
The daily turnover increased to QR 196,610 Million with a volume of 6,139,199 shares from 3,515 transactions compared with QR 193.499 Million with a volume of 6,354,202 shares from 3,191 transactions on Sunday.
Indices of five sectors ended in green and two in red today. Banks & Financial Services index gained today, up +0.41%. QSE Total Return index increased +0.48% to 17,982.54 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index was up +0.40% to 4,377.1 points and QSE All Share Index increased +0.41% to 3,078.08 points.
Shares of 40 companies exchanged hands today from the 43 listed on QSE. From these, 27 gained, 7 dropped and six remained unchanged.
