KUNA holds graduation ceremony for 2nd Kuwait University students' program


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) held on Monday a graduation ceremony for the second batch of Kuwait University students.
Prepared by the agency, the program aimed at getting the students ready for their real careers. It was held between August 2 till September 30.
Board Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Sabah expressed in his speech during the ceremony his happiness for the graduation of the second batch of students of the University of Kuwait who have passed successfully the agency's program.
He congratulated the students who participated in the program for their perseverance, hard work and keenness to develop their skills and abilities and prepare themselves for a bright and promising future.
He expressed his sincere thanks to the Kuwait University and all its respective personnel for their continued cooperation with (KUNA) for the organization of this outstanding national program which aims to refine the capabilities of Kuwaiti university students and prepare them for participation in the march of the Renaissance, development and construction in Kuwait.
He stressed his pride in this qualifying program "that comes out of the Agency's interest in youth and embodiment of the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah that the young people are the real wealth of Kuwait".
He also underscored KUNA's contribution to supporting the government's ambitious development plan "which we all seek to support and we are confident of its success in meeting the aspirations of the people of Kuwait." For his part, acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the Kuwait University, Dr. Mirsel Al-Ajmi praised the agency's efforts in encouraging the capabilities of the Kuwait University students in the media domain and enhancing their writing of news in both Arabic and English languages.
He thanked all KUNA's personnel for their tremendous efforts, wishing the agency all the best.
In turn, Deputy Director-General for editorial sector Saad Al-Ali expressed his pride in the performance of students and the trainees' enthusiasm and perseverance in receiving information and applying them practically.
Al-Ali said that the training program last year had been a great success, adding that the Agency was prompted to hold it for the second time in order to meet the directives of His Highness the Amir in this regard.
For her part, Fatma Al-Harran, a participant Kuwait University student thanked in her speech KUNA's personnel for the tremendous efforts given to the students, recalling some of the important principles taught during the program including commitment, honesty, objectivity, cooperation, teamwork and dealing with different people.
