Jordan- 2 dead, 15 injured in various road accidents


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Two people died and 15 were injured Sunday in traffic accidents across the Kingdom, according to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement.

It said one person died and 3 others were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Amman. Medics rushed to the scene, evacuated the body of the dead man and administered first aid to the injured before taking them to hospitals.

In the Mafraq governorate, some 80 km north of Amman, a car overturned resulting in one death and the injury of three people, who were rushed the injured to the Mafraq Government Hospital. In the western Amman Seventh Circle district, five people were injured in a collision between two vehicles, where CDD teams were called in and evacuated the injured to hospital.

Another 4 were hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Al Hummar in West Amman, where CDD medics offered treatment to the injured at the site before moving them to a nearby hospital.
