Jordan- King meets with Romanian prime minister


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Sunday, said Jordan is keen to cement ties between Jordan and Romania in various fields, especially in economic spheres.

This came during a meeting today with visiting Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta. The meeting underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of agriculture, information technology and security and military industries.

In this context, His Majesty the King highlighted Jordan's attractive investment opportunities and the Kingdom's location as a gateway to the Middle East markets.

They also discussed efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria as well as means to secure more international support to the Syrian refugees and host countries.

Ponta stressed the need to enhance Jordanian-Romanian cooperation in various domains and said his country eyes closer ties with the Kingdom.
