Egypt cautions against Israeli escalating aggressions on Palestinians

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the escalation of the aggressions of the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The continued aggressions against the sons of the Palestinian people risk triggering an all-out explosion of the situation which could not be easy to bring under control again, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday evening.
"The Israeli authorities persist in following the policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people, including the demolition of, and setting ablaze, their homes, and restricting their freedom of movement and religious freedom at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
"This policy could not only foment tension and undermine the efforts to revive the Palestinian-Israeli peace process, but trigger a vicious circle of violence between both sides as well," according to the statement.
