Nine Dead in Afghanistan after Airstrike

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) At least nine people are dead and 37 others injured after a suspected US airstrike hit a hospital Saturday in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz.

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said Friday that nine of its employees were killed in the attack. The agency called on the parties involved to provide a clarification on what led to the deaths.

Taliban had entered the province of Kunduz several days ago but Afghani forces managed to regain control of the province with help from international forces.
