Chinese Sinopec Co. to launch deepest gas field soon
(MENAFN) China's deepest gas field in marine strata, Yuanba gas field in Sichuan Province, will be fully operational by the end of this year, according to the available data.
It's set to create 3.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas on a yearly basis, which will therefore assist various regions along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
In more detail, the field's deposits are as deep as 6,700 meters, plus it has overall discovered assets of 219.4 billion cubic meters, and it's all operated by the energy giant, Sinopec.
