(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Romanian Prime Minister, Victor Ponta, and an accompanying delegation, on Saturday, visited the Baptism Site on the Jordan River, where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist.
Upon arrival at the site, Ponta was received by Minister of Tourism, Nayef al-Fayez and other officials who delivered a briefing about the religious and historical importance of the site as a destination for Christian pilgrims.
