(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Four family members were wounded in a stabbing attack by a young man, reportedly a Palestinian, in the Old City in Jerusalem on Saturday, Haaretz said on its website.
The Israeli security forces shot and killed the man.
Paramedics said that a man and a woman in their 40s were in critical condition, a young woman was seriously wounded and a two-year-old toddler suffered light wounds.
They were evacuated to Jerusalem-area hospitals, where they are receiving medical care.
The four, all members of the same ultra-Orthodox family, were apparently on their way to the Wailing Wall (Buraq Wall) when they were attacked.
On Thursday, two settlers were killed when shots were fired toward their car in the West Bank. They were driving with their four kids down a road between the settlements of Elon Moreh and Itamar, near the Palestinian town of Furik, east of Nablus.
The children, aged 9, 7, 4 and four months were sitting in the back seat and were not wounded in the incident.
