NATO chief expresses sadness over Kunduz hospital bombing
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg voiced his "deep sadness" Saturday over the tragic incident involving a 'Doctors Without Borders' hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan.
"Doctors Without Borders perform extraordinary humanitarian work across the world, including in Afghanistan. They play an important role in helping create the conditions for a better future for the Afghan people," he said in a statement.
"A US investigation into this tragic incident is under way in coordination with the Afghan government," added the statement.
