Middle East flights improves 13.7 percent in Aug


(MENAFN) Interest for Middle East air travel continues to surpass the world's average, regardless the plummeting regional economies like Saudi Arabia, based on recent reports.

Air travel amongst Middle East carriers increased 13.7 percent in August as opposed to the corresponding month in 2014, marking double the growth in global air travel of 7.1 percent.

The Middle East was the quickest improving of all regions in August. Latin American airlines by 6.7 percent, Asia-Pacific airlines grew by 7.7 percent and the European airlines by 5.7 percent.
