Two soldiers killed in PKK attack in Diyarbakr

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly)Two specialized sergeants were killed on Oct. 1 in an outlawedKurdistan Workers’ Party(PKK) attack in the Silvan district of the southeasternDiyarbakrprovince.
Around 7 a.m. a group ofPKKmilitants wearing masks opened fire with automatic weapons on specialized sergeants Sinan Uçan and Tolga Topçuolu as they were getting in a car to go to the Silvan Tactical Gendarmerie Post where they worked. Uçan and Topçuolu were immediately killed at the scene while thePKKmilitants fled.
A wide-scale operation has been launched to apprehend the militants responsible for the attack.
