(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Violent clashes broke out Wednesday between Palestinians students and Israeli occupation forces south of the West Bank city of Hebron .
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that Israeli soldiers stationed at the Abu Ar-rish military checkpoint fired rubber bullets, toxic gas and sound grenades against Palestinian students heading to their schools in the southern area of the city, leaving a number of them suffocated.
The student threw stones and empty bottles at Israeli soldiers, the statement added.
