While the actor says he hasn't been approached lately about the role, he told eonline.com that he's open to it now. "I'd certainly give it a thought," Jackman said.
"I don't think there's an actor on the planet who wouldn't at least say, 'Oh, let me have a think about that.'" Jackman has said in the past that he was once offered the role, but he decided against it because he was getting ready to film X-Men 2.
