(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Kabul Dhu-AlHijjah 15 1436 September 29 2015 SPA -- Afghan President Ashraf Ghani vows that the army will
retake control over a key northern city captured by Taliban rebels
the day before dpa reported.
He says the government is not abandoning Kunduz and urged Afghans to
not give in to "fear and terror."
"Reinforcements including special forces and commandos are either
there or on their way there" Ghani says.
"The enemy uses people as a shield and we are working hard to
protect the lives of our people."
