Iran's Qeshm exports soar 35 percent


(MENAFN) Qeshm Free Zone Organization, located in the southern Iranian Island has improved its exports and shipments 35 percent during the period from March to September.

Key export destinations included the Persian Gulf littoral states and most importantly Saudi Arabia; the shipments were mainly cement, cigarette and zinc.

Qeshm which houses the vital free zone is an Iranian island in the Strait of Hormuz, and separated from the mainland by the Clarence Strait/Khuran in the Persian Gulf.
