Trend Alert: Animal prints at Milan Fashion Week


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) When you see animal prints at Versace, Pucci and Cavalli, you are not surprised. But when Bottega Veneta goes leopard, you start to think. It seems even Bottega Veneta's creative director, Tomas Maier is saying it is okay to love those animal prints. His Spring Summer 2016 collection took to the ramp took the ramp on Saturday and Maier, known to be the master of minimalism, gave leopard prints a firm nod.

For Donatella Versace her inspiration has a more military feel for the next season, so it more about the camouflage print. In shades of khaki, she proved that uniforms really are sexy. Cavalli under the creative guidance of Peter Dundas all about the zebra print, giving it a new twist on denims. Dundas play on the print added a feel of sophisticated sensuality yet kept things fiercely stylish.
