(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Guru ketki hazra's Kathak Academy is preparing to host a special dance showcase of 'Ashtnayika' next week.
Taking place on October 3 at Ductac, Mall of the Emirates, the stage performance will take its inspiration from the classical Indian text Natyashastra, with songs chosen from semi-classical and classical compositions across the subcontinent.
The dance show is a part of Kathak Academy's 29th edition of Nrityanjali, an annual non-profit event, and will showcase more than a dozen performances.
