(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met Saturday in New York with Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and Investment Promotion, Abdusalam Omer, on the sidelines of the 70th session of the U.N. General Assembly.
The meeting reviewed developments in Somalia as well as issues of mutual interest. HE Dr. Al Attiyah also met Afghani Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani. The meeting discussed developments in Afghanistan and issues of common concern.Additionally, HE the foreign minister met Maldivian Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon, and Minister of Environment and Energy Thorig Ibrahim.
The meeting discussed bilateral ties and ways of boosting economic cooperation. It also touched on issues of common concern. Moreover, HE Dr. Al Attiyah met Vanuatu's Foreign Minister Serge Vohor. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of promoting them in addition to issues of mutual interest.
