Iran delivers one fourth of Turkey's oil needs


(MENAFN) Iran took the second place as an exporter of crude oil to Turkey during the April-June period, by providing one fourth of Turkey's oil necessities.

Turkey imported 488,700 barrels of oil from Iran per day through the period, which is a growth of 72,000 barrels per day as opposed to 2014's numbers.

Iraq is the top oil exporter to Turkey, but this is about to change soon as sabotage in Iraqi cities have posed obstacles for oil trade, harming both sides.

Iran and world's six major powers have recently settled their negotiations on Tehran's nuclear activities leading to the signing of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
