GCC AL OIC Secretaries General Hold 3rd Consultative Session in New York

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) New York Dhu-AlHijjah 14 1436 Sep 28 2015 SPA -- The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani participated in the third consultative session which was held with the Secretary General of Arab League (AL) Dr. Nabil Elaraby and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Iyad Madani at the headquarters of the OIC Permanent Observer Mission in the United Nations here yesterday.
Meanwhile members of the senior officials committee concerned with preparations for the consultative sessions and a number of officials of the three organizations also took part in the 3rd Consultative Session.
A statement issued by the GCC General Secretariat said the consultation session tackled a number of issues including the coordination of positions to support the Palestinian cause and the issues of the refugees and displaced in the Arab region.
