17 illegal Syrian migrants drown in Turkish coast
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Seventeen Syrian illegal migrants drowned Sunday after their boat sank off the Turkish coast of Bodrum.
The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 20 other Syrian refugees early on Sunday in the Greek island of Leros, said the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
The 37 Syrians had boarded the boat at the holiday resort of Gumusluk on the Bodrum peninsula and sank soon after leaving the coast, it added.
