Bait al Zubair Museum closed for Eid to open on Saturday

Bait al Zubair Museum has announced that it will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

A press release stated that the museum will remain open on Wednesday (Arfa day) and will be closed on Thursday (the first day of Eid) and Friday. The museum will resume normal visiting hours from Saturday (9.30am-6pm).

Bait al Zubair features one of Oman's finest private collections of ethnographic material. It also houses cultural treasures spanning several centuries that reflect the country's unique identity and cultural heritage.

The museum also has a renovated period house which gives visitors a glimpse of Omani life over 100 years ago. It also showcases ancient Islamic gold coins and maps of Arabia. At its gift shop the museum is selling special Eid cards artwork and heritage-themed items the release added.
