Qatar Continues to Send Aid to Yemen

DOHA: At the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani two aircrafts loaded with humanitarian relief aid left Doha Tuesday for Yemen to provide basic needs to the Yemeni people in light of the difficult conditions experienced by them.

The aid includes relief materials medical supplies medicines and foodstuffs. The Standing Committee for Rescue and Relief Operations and Humanitarian Aids for Areas Afflicted by Catastrophes in in Brotherly and Friendly Countries headed by Qatari Research and Rescue Team (Lekhwiya) took mission of its preparation and coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure its arrival to the Yemen people.

Qatari air bridge specialized in transfer aid assistances has resumed its activities by sending these two relief aircrafts accompanied by Qatari Research and Rescue Team (Lekhwiya) to Aden International Airport. QNA
