(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Djibouti Prime Minister Abdulqader Kamel Mohammad laid foundation stone for Doha Alkhair village funded by Qatar Charity at a cost of QR 4 million.

Doha Alkhair village includes 100 houses, a clinic, a mosque, an elementary school, a center for stitching, water tanks and other facilities. It is expected to help1,200 poor and needy persons in Djibouti will benefit from this integrated residential project and is scheduled to be completed within a year.

In his keynote speech on the occasion, Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Djibouti Nasser bin Khamis Ali Al Mansouri said that the project represents a great hope to dozens of families that will be able them to change their life and live in decent and suitable conditions , which will lead to create educated generation that contribute to local development more effectively.
