(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A slight rise in temperatures is expected Tuesday and Wednesday; therefore it will be moderate in the hilly areas and relatively hot to hot in the Jordan Valley .
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate with clouds at low altitudes.
Temperatures forecast in the capital for today will reach a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 20 degrees, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will reach a high of 39 degrees dropping down to 26 degrees at night, the JMD added .
