(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Two metal plant workers have died in the Fayha area in the southern Madaba governorate, after a molten metal spilled over them, a Civil Defence Department statement (CDD) said Sunday.
It said the workers sustained third-degree burns when the steel was poured on them. Five 5 workers at the spot also suffered different types of burns.
In other incidents , 4 people were injured in seven-vehicle collision on the Zarqa highway, and 4 others were also harmed in a crash in the Karak governorate.
The CDD medics administered first aid to the injured and transferred them to hospitals.
